A note from Untangled’s Author, Kirsty Maynor:
‘Even before I finished writing Untangled, I knew that it was important to me that the book supported individuals facing change who might not be able to access it themselves. Making a difference matters to me. It’s the reason I do the work I do and the reason I wrote Untangled.
Through my work in Firefly with third sector organisations, I have seen first hand the needs of these communities and individuals, and the staff, and am acutely aware that many of the services set up to support people facing change don’t always take into account the specific needs and desires of people who are from vulnerable, marginalised and minority groups.
Through the Untangled Charity Fund I want to make a difference to people, both through financial support and donated copies of the book and journal. Every year I will identify three charities to receive a share of 5% of the financial proceeds from the sale of Untangled, and I will also make available some complimentary copies for service users and the staff working in those organisations.
This year StepChange U.K, Marie Curie and LGBT Youth Scotland are the chosen charities for the Untangled Charity Fund and each will receive a share of 5% of the proceeds from Untangled.
If you know of a charity that would benefit from donated copies of Untangled and the journal, please get in touch and let me know.’
"I admire Kirsty and her work in the world as a force for good, including this lovely and inspiring book. Untangled has all the ingredients to become an invaluable toolkit for meeting the challenges of a conscious life."
